OZZY OSBOURNE Issues Japanese Single, Plans Live CD!
December 21, 2001OZZY OSBOURNE will be issuing a CD single in Japan on January 28th featuring the album version of Dreamer, an acoustic/unplugged version of the same track, an unreleased cut called Black Skies (which was originally due to be used in the now-aborted video game of the same name) and two as-yet-undisclosed live cuts. There is no US release planned for the single, and it is presently unclear if the single will surface on the European continent. In other OZZY news, there appears to be a strong possibility that the BLACK SABBATH frontman will be recording a Live At Budokan-style live album during his upcoming tour of the Far East, which is scheduled to take place during February. Along with the live recordings, there is talk of including three unreleased studio recordings in the package, among them the aforementioned Black Skies. A summer release is reportedly planned through Epic Records. Also on the OZZY front, Virgin Mega Online has reported that the singer will be doing a little holiday shopping at Virgin Megastore Times Square [New York City] this week, to be filmed by MTV for an upcoming MTV documentary special on the frontman.
